SUMMARY

The Boje and the Nsadop communities live in neighboring villages in Boki Local Government Area in Cross River state. They share a language and ancestral history, and are reported to have coexisted peacefully for hundreds of years. However, a land conflict between the two communities has been simmering since the 1960s and has led to violence between the two groups.

The non-state conflict between the Boje and the Nsadop communities is first included in UCDP data in 2010. In October that year, clashes between the two groups resulted in at least 30 battle-related deaths.

No recorded fatalities for this entity.
