SUMMARY

The Nsadop people are an ethno-linguistic community mainly residing in Boki Local Government Area in Cross River state, Southeastern Nigeria. The community has been involved in non-state conflicts with other ethnic communities in Nigeria.

The Nsadop speak a dialect of the Boki (or Bokyi) language, and mainly rely on cash crops such as bananas, yams and cocoa for subsistence. They are reported to number around 7000 people and are ruled by a traditional leader. In conflicts with other ethnic groups the Nsadop appear to not deploy a formally organised militia, but instead rely on more loosely organised groupings to carry out violence against their opponents.

The Nsadop people have been involved in the non-state category of UCDP organised violence.
