SUMMARY

TTP Islahi, an offshoot of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), was formed by a commander called Fazal Saeed Haqqani who has recently quit TTP. TTP-Islahi targets Shia community because they believe Shiites are allegedly in league with the government and the armed forces in the ongoing military operation against TTP-Islahi in Kurram Agency.

TTP Islahi has been involved in the one-sided category of UCDP organised violence.
