SUMMARY

The Okrika ethnic group is based in the oil rich delta areas of southern Nigeria. They are highly represented in the town of Port Harcourt, were one of the suburbs is named Okrika. There is little written on the group, wherefore it is difficult to elaborate on their way of life, history or leadership.

Okrika has been involved in the non-state category of UCDP organised violence.
