SUMMARY
The one-sided attacks carried out by the United Baloch Army (UBA) were carried out as a retaliation to a military operation targeting Baloch militants in 2014 by the Frontier Corps, the Pakistani paramilitary forces.
UBA first became active as a one-sided actor in UCDP data in 2014, when the one-sided violence resulted in over 25 civilian deaths. The threshold was reached in April that year when more than 25 people had been killed in bomb attacks.
