SUMMARY
The Ants Posse Gang was a criminal organization based in Jamaica, responsible for a range of violent criminal activities including murder, contract killings, shootings, and extortion.
The gang was driven by territorial control, criminal profit, and competition over the control of criminal markets in western Jamaica, particularly in the Grange Hill area and surrounding communities in Westmoreland parish.
The gang was armed with firearms and demonstrated the capacity to engage in armed confrontations with both rival gangs and security forces, with members also linked to contract killings and other violent crimes against civilians. Its primary adversary was the King Valley Gang, with whom it maintained a prolonged and violent territorial feud.
Ants Posse has been involved in the non-state category of UCDP organized violence.
