SUMMARY
Santiago Xochiltepec, Xochiltepec in short, is a Zapotec Indian settlement in Oaxaca in South Mexico. The settlement had, in 2002, about 640 inhabitants. They have, due to claims over land, been in conflict with the neighbouring Tejomulco region since 1935.
The people in Santiago Xochiltepec have been involved in the non-state category of UCDP organised violence.
