SUMMARY

TTP-SM, TTP Shehryar Mehsud faction is a group of militants belonging to the Taleban Movement of Pakistan (TTP). The Shehryar Mehsud faction is loyal to the former TTP leader Hakimullah Mehsud and the current leader Mullah Fazlullah. When TTP was involved in peace talks with the Pakistani government, the Shehryar Mehsud faction was opposed to it which caused fighting to occur with the Khan Said faction who was of a more pro-government standpoint.

The Shehryar Mehsud faction of TTP has been involved in the non-state category of UCDP organised violence.
