SUMMARY

The Torma Manian ethnic group, who adhered to the Muslim faith, lived in the southern area of Guinea (around Macenta in Nzérékoré) and in Liberia (mainly in Lofa County).

Prior to the violent clashes between the Torma and Torma Manian in 2000, there was no organized violence originating from this group.

The Torma Manian ethnic group has been involved in the non-state category of UCDP organized violence.
