SUMMARY

The conflict between Hezbollah and civilians became active on 18 July 1994 when Hezbollah executed a suicide attack on a Jewish Community Centre in Buenos Aires in Argentina. The centre, the Argentine Israelite Mutual Association, was driven into by a bomb-laden van which subsequently detonated resulting in 86 fatalities.
