SUMMARY

Part of the broader anti-IS fighting that began in January 2014 (see IS - Islamic Front, Mujahideen Army, SRF). Active in Ayn al-Arab and Manbij districts, northeastern Aleppo.

Developed into Dawn of Freedom Brigades, Euphrates Islamic Liberation Front, Islamic Front, Jabhat al-Akrad, Liwa Thuwar ar-Raqqa - IS in February 2014, following the arrival of groups fleeing IS in Raqqah.
