Comment on Name: Bandera Roja (Red Flag)
Secondary Support: Bandera Roja reportedly had links to the Cuban government as well as to other leftist guerrilla groups in Latin America, such as M-19 (Movimiento 19 de Abril; 19 April Movement) in Colombia. It also allegedly shared a training facility with the Spanish separatist group ETA (Euskadi ta azkatasuna; Basque Nation and Liberty) sometime during the early 1980s. However, it is unclear to what extent Bandera Roja gained any tangible support from these actors.
