Comment on conflict reached 25 battle releated deaths: The non-state conflict between the Bokora Karimojong on the one side and the allied Matheniko Karimojong, Jie on the other is first included in UCDP data in 2000. At the beginning of July of that year, a joint force of Matheniko and Jie warriors raided a Bokora Karimojong village and the ensuing fight resulted in 48 people battle-related deaths.

2000 Conflict Archive
Comment on Activity: In the beginning of July, the Jie Karimojong and the Matheniko Karimojong joined forces to raid a Bokora Karimojong village located in Bokora County in north-eastern Uganda. After the incident was over, Bokora warriors regrouped and pursued the raiders which resulted in a second shootout. The conflict between the three Karimojong tribes claimed the lives of 48 people.
