Comment on Activity: The only event recorded in this dyad took place on 26 April 1998, it was described as GIA infighting at first, it was later understood that it was in fact rival splinter groups of GIA that had clashed. The battle claimed the lives of 62 people. There is no further fighting recorded in this dyad.
