Comment on Activity: In 2007 the most severe conflict taking place in Darfur was the one between the Terjam group and the Reizegat Abbala. It caused almost 400 dead, with a vast majority of the persons killed being from the Terjam tribe. The fighting was concentrated in January to March when the Reizegat Abbala was on its way south on a seasonal migration, with their cattle crossing through Terjam areas. The fighting resumed in July when the Reizegat Abbala made the trek back again.
