Comment on Activity: Despite the fact that the conflict started already in 2004, and went on until 2006, violence between the Huber and the Yantar only reached 25 fatalities in 2005. The violence mainly took place in August after months of sporadic clashes between the two groups. In August, the two groups engaged in a series of retaliatory attacks using automatic weapons and small arms.
