Comment on conflict reached 25 battle releated deaths: The non-state conflict between the Bokora Karimojong and the Jie is first included in UCDP data in 2003. In the middle of January of that year the Bokora raided a Jie grazing area situated at Olilim market and the ensuing fighting resulted in more than 25 battle-related deaths.

Comment on Activity: The conflict between the two groups took mainly place in January of that year, when in one single event 76 people died. Despite this event, the two groups engaged in a series of smaller cattle raids in January and February.
