Comment on Activity: The conflict between the Arrow Boys and LRA can be divided into four events all happening in similar settings. In September, a village was attacked by LRA rebels in eastern Uganda. A month later, LRA rebels attacked a camp for displaced persons in north-eastern Uganda only to attack another camp in the same area a few weeks later. The final event took place in eastern Uganda where rebels attacked a remote village. All these locations were under the protection of the Arrow Boys and hence the attacks led to fierce fighting. The clashes between the two factions resulted in 71 battle-related deaths.
