Comment on Activity: In June 2003, the FNI/FRPI/RCD-K-ML coalition attacked Kasenyi, a fishing town on the shores of Lake Albert in the Ituri region of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Kasenyi was home to an important PUSIC military camp. After the predominantly Lendu militia had chased away the PUSIC soldiers in the town, they started massacring civilians. Over a hundred civilians were killed in the attack on the town.
