Comment on conflict reached 25 battle releated deaths: The GATIA, MSA coalition first became active as a one-sided actor in UCDP data in 2018, when the one-sided violence resulted in more than 25 civilian deaths. The threshold was reached in late April that year when the coalition attacked ethnic Dossaak and Fulani civilians at several different locations in the Ekrafane area, subsequently resulting at least 47 deaths.
