The Chandelle self-defense group, known as "Force Résistance Chandelle," was active in the Artibonite department of Haiti, particularly in the commune of Petite Rivière de l’Artibonite. This group emerged as a community response to escalating gang violence in the region.
Force Résistance Chandelle was involved in one-sided violence in Haiti in 2024.
