SUMMARY
The Brigades of Aisha (Aisha Umm-al Mouemeneen in Arabic) is also known as the Aisha Brigades, or the Aisha Battalion. Little is known about this group, which first appeared when taking responsibility for two car bombings in Beirut aimed at Hezbollah. The group is thought to be one of a myriad of jihadist groups, perhaps linked to al-Qaeda, participating in the Syrian civil war on the rebel side.
The Brigades of Aisha have been involved in the non-state category of UCDP organised violence.
