SUMMARY
The Ninzam, or Ninzo, are an ethnic group that reside in the northern regions of Nigeria and speak the language of Ninzo. The information on the Ninzam ethnic group is limited; most of the reporting has been in connection with violent interaction with other ethnic groups. The reports focused more on the actual violence than on the characteristics of the group.
Like a majority of the ethnic groups in northern Nigeria, the Ninzam are Muslim. Despite sharing the same religion the ethnicities in northern Nigeria clash quite frequently. There are a numerous examples of this, some of them including the Ninzam ethnic group.
The Ninzam has no common leader, who oversaw and directed the fighting, that the Ninzam have been involved in. There have not been any clear ties to other groups or governments.
The Ninzam ethnic group has been involved in the non-state category of UCDP organised violence.
