The latest episode features UCDP director Magnus Öberg and Project Manager Therese Pettersson.

In their article “Organized violence 1989-2020, with a special emphasis on Syria” in the July issue of Journal of Peace Research, Therese Pettersson, Shawn Davies, Amber Deniz, Garoun Engström, Nanar Hawach, Stina Högbladh, Margareta Sollenberg & Magnus Öberg present updated data on all three categories of organized violence (state-based conflict, non-state conflict and one-sided violence) as well as explore how Syria has dominated the trends in organized violence in the past decade.
