Major data release

UCDP GED Syria 2016-2019

UCDP has released a first version of geo-referenced events data for Syria, covering 2016-2019 (excluding December 2019). With over 16 500 recorded events, this is a major addition to the UCDP data collection.

The dataset can be downloaded from ucdp.uu.se/downloads

UCDP Bulletin

The UCDP Bulletin presents and visualizes recent trends in conflict data. So far, five issues have been relased, focusing on for example Afghanistan, Northern Syria, and Tripoli. All issues can be found at UCDP Bulletin.
