ISA Annual Convention

Meet the UCDP at the ISA convention!

Next week, the UCDP will participate in the International Studies Association (ISA) annual convention, held in Toronto, Canada, on 26-29 March. The UCDP will present its new georeferenced data and display its conflict encyclopedia (formerly known as the UCDP database) in the exhibit hall, booth 503. Staff from the UCDP and the Department of Peace and Conflict Research at Uppsala University, will also participate in several panels, presenting papers using UCDP data (see below).

Ongoing projects

UCDP Georeferenced Event Dataset (UCDP GED)

Work to produce the second subset of the UCDP GED is ongoing. The new subset will cover Asia during 1989-2012. The data is scheduled for release this year. The first subset, covering Africa, was released in 2011.
